Come celebrate the 64th birthday of Blues Chanteuse, Peggy Ratusz, tonight as she reprises her sell-out show, “Blues in the Night.” The playlist is hip, swingin’, beautiful and sultry.
Peggy and her outstanding backing band will bring their own arrangements to songs by Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Bonnie Raitt, Ann Peebles, Joan Osborne, Ertha Kitt, Etta James, Diana Krall, Gregg Allman, Tom Waitts, Stephen Bishop, Eric Clapton and more.
Ratusz has won Best in Blues for twelve of the past 18 years and is known for pulling from the endless pool of talented, all-star players of Asheville. For this show Jonathan Pearlman will play guitar and sing. Aaron Price is on keys and vocals. The rhythm section is comprised of Justin Watt on drums and bassist, Connor Law.
