Belle Hollows songs are fresh and new while still paying homage to their roots – sometimes with a little tongue in cheek humor as in “Rebel on the Run”, which hints towards the Gaelic music that helped serve the music of the Appalachians. Opening with a tin whistle and fiddle, the song paints a picture of a man making and delivering moonshine, and, having left his home, circumstance of incident require the persona to return home “hiding from the sun, deliverin shine”. Other songs, like Miller’s Creek deliver a sweet and painful anguish of a woman torn between the man she longs to be with and the town she longs to leave behind. Their other songs show an honest vulnerability of emotion and a sincere invitation to look into their collective hearts ... and yours, too.

Zach & Maggie are a Nashville based music duo that blend creative songwriting with instrumental complexity to create an exciting musical experience. Both have spent over a decade backing artists of many styles touring separately and together. Over the years they have had the opportunity to perform at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Kennedy Center, and the Grand Ole Opry.
Taking these years of experience Zach & Maggie have embarked on this new project to explore their own musical ideas blending their studies in bluegrass, Celtic, and classical music with their love of songwriters like Randy Newman, Jackson Browne, Tom Waits, and the Mamas and Papas. Their rhetorical songwriting and instrumental ability inspires a thought provoking, laugh inducing, awe inspiring musical evening.
