The Belle Hollows
7:00PM
Having first played together as part of the Nashville-based newgrass band The Barrel Jumpers, Robert Phaneuf and siblings Rachel Johnson and Jeremy Johnson spent the better part of a decade developing the unique vocal blend that characterized the sound of their former band. Now, with years of experi ence together and a sound that is all their own, this trio is breaking new ground with their debut album Miller’s Creek.
Co-produced by engineer JD Tiner and band member Jeremy Johnson, the album was recorded at Glass Onion Studios in Nashville, TN and mastered by Alex McCullough at True East Mastering in Nashville, TN. Along with the talent of local musicians Josh Roy - bass; Chris Joslin - banjo and dobro; and Josh Culley of Nosey Flynn - accordian, bodhran, and tin whistle, the album also boasts the talents of Irish fiddle champion David Duffy and the gifted ladies of Harpeth Rising.
If a debut album marks the beginning of an artist’s journey, then Miller’s Creek is the beautiful road map that The Belle Hollows have created to begin theirs. Featuring nine original songs, this well-crafted blend of tasteful arrangements and soothing vocals is sure to please both listeners who have enjoyed them in the past and those who are just now being introduced to this talented group of musicians.
