The Cheeksters began when Mark and Shannon met by chance on a train in London, England. After recording their first two albums in Knoxville, Tennessee they relocated to Nashville and released "Skating On The Cusp" with producer Brent Little in 1999. The Cheeksters continued recording in Little's analogue studio, releasing "NineteenSixtyFive", "Movers and Shakers" and "The Golden Birds" over the next decade. The group now call Asheville, North Carolina home and perform their fantastic original music as a 5-piece band.
