Playing the music of the Buddy Rich Big Band and celebrating Buddy’s 100th birthday, Rick Dilling and his band TIME CHECK is back to perform an encore tribute with more fantastic arrangements ! And a special appearance by vocalist Wendy Jones! Don’t miss this rare musical event.

Drummer Rick Dilling has 43 years of experience playing jazz with such notable players as Clark Terry, Ernie Watts, Herb Ellis, Phil Woods, Houston Persons and the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra. He is been a member of the jazz faculty of Appalachian State University for the past 25 years.

Rick performs regularly in the Todd Wright Quartet, the Michael Jeffery Stevens Trio, the Wendy Jones Quartet , the Asheville Jazz Orchestra as well as many of the areas top jazz artist.

Rick assembled a fantastic big band, TIME CHECK, in August of last year to pay tribute to the music of the great Buddy Rich Big Band. He’s back again for “part 2”, to celebrate Buddy’s 100th birthday with all new, exciting charts !
